A showy flower that looks great in mixed or herbaceous borders and as a cut flower.

Planting

Water well and leave to stand. Prepare the Planting area and fill hole with two parts soil, mixed with one part soil improver and a little general fertiliser. Replace soil around root ball, firm in and water Well. Keep moist until established.

Peonies can thrive in most soil types, including clay, provided the soil is well-drained and not waterlogged. They prefer a location with full sun or partial shade.
